   It`s not uncommon there`s a band called Big Daddy who play modern music in the 50`s rock `n roll style. As a joke they say they were on a plane that went down and they were stranded on an island then many yrs later they were rescued. Unaware of the changing music trends when they heard a modern song they liked the only way they could play it was in the 50`s doo wop and rock `n roll style. Check `em out.

   Unlikely. The selling point is that they are doing rearrangements of modern covers. But they can’t get big doing that only. Once they do originals it’ll just be normal ragtime swing tunes which won’t have its place in today’s top 40s market unfortunately.
