   There is no such thing as a golden age. It’s different for everyone, as it’s basically the era they grew up in. There are plenty of amazing rappers out there, right now. It’s just that most people are ignorant about them. Good hip hop has gone underground, pretty much.

   About underground hip hop, yeah I would say so. But even mainstream hip hop isn’t dead. I don’t like what it’s become, but it’s definitely not dead. Underground is where it’s at right now. Immortal Technique, Dilated Peoples, Sean Price, Blackalicious, Atmosphere, that’s what old hip hop fans are looking for.
