Unfortunately and sadly, her only child passed away three years ago, I am sure it had broken Phoebe in her last couple of years… but her amazing voice will continue to reach and touch old and new fans alike…and that is her legacy and immortality. Thank you for your post.

Life is going OK. I have been away from alcohol for many years now. I am so glad I found this song and thank you for posting it.
Man, I have loved this song so much since I first bought that album (cassette) in 1989 or so. & Phoebe? First time I heard her … OMG, uhm … I guess it’s easiest to say I think we’re CONNECTED somehow, as I am greatly to the late singer Sarah Vaughan also. I hear their music – beyond MOVED! I finally found this song. My friend had the cassette, or CD and used to play this song over and over back when it first came out. I never heard it on the radio, but it was a big hit with me. Brings back fun and nice memories. R.I.P. Phoebe Snow.
