Clearly you don’t know what a hipster is, Kid Cudi is not one of them.
Somebody can be influenced by another artist and not be exactly like them, otherwise, that would just be a cover.
I’m in no way an expert, but I am pretty sure Cobain’s songs were mostly about more important things.
