   and they said this sounded like led zeppelin??? it doesnt one bit. can’t compare the cult to any other band and you can’t put them in one genre.

   Seen them in Glasgow touring love album in 1980s, and then again same venue, Barrowlands, for my 50th, still crazy for them after all these years.

   The Cult should have had a second guitarist. If you listen to the studio version of ‘Nirvana’ the funkiest bit, you know that dacka..da. dack.da..da daa. da dacka da dack bit needs two guitars. All their music needed two guitars, their studio versions were awesome but live..just not the same.
