   I am so happy for you spinny78 my grandma that I lived with for a while just died of breast cancer last month She battled it twice and this reminds me of her because she loved me more than any thing in the world

   Dang my momma died in 2009 from lung cancer a month after she found out she was stage 4. The doctors in our small town told us there was just a pulled ligament in her back. The day my 3 brothers and my big sis and I had her memorial service I found out I was pregnate with my almost 3 year old. I heald her hand for 14 mins. while they counted her heartbeat after her last breath.My Momma was my best friend

   I am 73 yoa, but I still know a great singer when I hear him. Blake won my heart with “The Baby” and holds a country place in my heart still. I have 3 boys and the 3 older ones have always teased me about “my baby”. When the CD came out with “The Baby” on it, my youngest one bought it for me and signed the front “Love From Your Baby”. So this song has always been very special to me. There is more to tbe story. But I will spare you the details.
