Per 36 minutes, your bullshit per game statistics look like this:
Drummond – 13.3 PTS, 13.7 TRB (5.2 ORB), 0.8 AST, 1.7 STL, 3.1 BLK, 1.5 TOV, 3.8 PF
Lillard – 17.1 PTS, 3.0 TRB (0.5 ORB), 6.0 AST, 0.9 STL, 0.3 BLK, 2.8 TOV, 1.9 PF
One of them is great on both sides of the court. One is good on one side of the court (offence). The latter would be Lillard.
Take into account the advanced statistics at our disposal and we can easily see that Drummond’s production per minute > Lillard’s.

Lillard: 17.1 PP36min with .418 FG%, 3.0 FTper36min with .856%, 6.0 ASTper36min, 3.0 RBper36min
Drummond: 13.3 PP36min with .592 FG%, 1.5 FTper36min with .365%, 0.8 ASTper36min, 13.7 RBper36min
So Drummond gets the rebounds and Lillard gets the assists, which makes total sense concerning the positions they play. But Lillard’s offense makes him a much more valuable player and he is also the facilitator for the team so he has the ball in his hands.
