   It’s ironic that this song is basically a satire about Newcastle city council and local bogans, yet there’s still hoards of comments like “go Newie, fuck off haters”. I’ll never forget the moment I caught the bus, and a woman was on the phone saying “let bogans be bogans”. It wasn’t till later I realized she was trying to say “let bygones be bygones”. Newcastle has a lot of scenic beauty, but its certainly not perfect, especially with what happened a few years ago in the inner city.
