See how James Brown’s music changed the world in the new trailer for
#GetOnUp!
James Brown makes me want to breakdance…
This is a must see movie…
One of the few movies on my MUST See list this summer. If you liked
Chadwick Boseman as Jackie Robinson in “42″, looks like he’s got the moves
as James Brown in “Get on Up”!
This is coming out on my B-Day Yaye, guess this is what I’ll be doing
August 1st, can’t wait, always wanted them to come out with a James Brown
movie, loved me some James Brown, he brought the funk, and energy to the
stage.RIP Mr. Brown, u are missed!!
is it weird that I’ve been waiting for a James Brown movie to be made? lol
Came out today
press number 4 on your computer
James Brown…..”The Hardest Workin’ Man in Show Business” overcame much,
entertained us for years and lived a turbulent life. The actor portraying
him is a ‘force’ to see. Good stuff!
why does he look so messed up a 1:01
“What the hell you doing? The Mashed Potatoe..That ain’t nobody’s mashed
potatoe!” lol
This was a great movie it got me into soul
An incredible cast of actors, mainly up and coming, minus veterans Jill
Scott, Dan Ackroyd and Craig Robinson. However, Get On Up’s main sour point
is that there was too much flashing back and forth between scenes and
timelines to ever connect or sympathize with any on screen characters. The
movie’s 1st half hour randomly cuts through different eras in a scrambled
motion. Nice effort but its not touching Ray by s long shot!
