I do this all the time? I can relate. Phantom and Les Mis are just perfect.
I don’t care what anyone says I liked wicked, I love everything to do with
Oz but les Mis and phantom just top my list

  2. This needs closed captions, I can’t understand a word their saying.

  3. May Camille says:

Theatre nerds and musical nerds are not the same FALSE TITLE. I love plays
and shows and movies but musicals just aren’t my thing, thus making me a
theatre nerd but I’m not a musical nerd. Psh

Okay I shouldn’t be this mad over this…..sorry

  4. Eli Nelson says:

Haha I’m a musical nerd, and yes I have wailed on guitar on stage and I do
remember all my cues. Comment if you love west side story best musical
    ever!!!!!!

  5. This could have been awesome! The music was just kinda bland, but love the
    melody and dancing

  6. aledu89 says:

A real musical theatre nerd would listen CAST RECORDINGS! not Soundtracks :)

  7. Ria Pederson says:

Did they just hate on Wicked are you kidding me? its not my favorite but
its up there I mean seriously people have opinions you can’t say someone
isn’t a musical fan because they like Wicked

  8. playdearbird says:

I don’t like it when my musical nerd friend just starts singing in the
middle of our conversation. Not while I talk, she is NOT rude like that but
while she is saying something she will start singing or dancing to express
somethings… I do not like that at all. I don’t get it, I don’t get what
she is trying to say or achieve by doing so. I show her that I don’t get it
and she doesn’t seem to care. She always continues and finishes when she
wants. Its like the buffering while watching a video.I feel forced. There
is nothing I can do other than just to sit there until it/she finishes what
it/she wants to do. *sigh* so I slowly started avoiding her.

  9. Why didn’t the Phantom of the Opera (aka Erik) sing?!
I saw the paper mask and would have fangirled into a coma is he started
    singing!!!!!
    WHY?!?!?!?!
Still, I loved the song! :3

  10. Askmolnet says:

2:07 | That one is so true. Just because movie actors portray the
characters differently, or the director chooses to have a particular scene
in another way, in comparison to the original, many fans have to bash on
it: (Sweeney Todd, Phantom of the Opera,) only to mention a few.

Seriously, Buzzfeed…Musical theatre nerds? How long are you going to keep
making these “Things __(insert bullshit, elusive, non-salient
    social/sexual/racial/personality archetype)__ do” videos?

    1) No one cares about what musical theatre nerds do
    2) The only thing musical theatre nerds have in common is that they’re
    musical theatre nerds
    3) The only thing that makes musical theatre nerds distinct from that of
other humans–and all the other bullshit social archetypes you’ve
explored–is that they’re musical theatre nerds
    4) No one cares about what musical theatre nerds do.

Step up your game, buzzfeed people. Start being more clever with your
video content, and if not, stop pretending to be clever with it.
