Bill doesn’t know shit about Dante Exum. Yes, he isn’t going to be great of
the bat, they drafted him off his potential. This year for Dante is just
    strength and conditioning and learning.

  2. ThexZoomRock says:

Jazz are gonna be better than 29th lol

  3. TheJellin23 says:

Rudy is the corniest fuckin movie ever made, the most bullshit glory boy
    nonsense ever put to tape

  4. I never understood why Chad Ford and Bill Simmons were driving the Dante
    Exum hype train so hard.

  5. Erik Page says:

Never do bad news bill again

  6. doublea422 says:

Can’t wait for the Jazz to prove some people wrong.

  7. always thought they should have held onto Big Al and Millsap. Or at least
got something good back for them

  8. Zagman99 says:

You’re likely to be as wrong about this years #29 prediction as last years
frankly. We’ll wait and see, but I think they’ll be very respectable this
year (30ish wins or more), along with some promising young players
improving. Exum is basically a HSer now, so you shouldn’t judge him until
mid next year, but I’m sure you won’t hesitate to embarrass yourself (like
you did all last year mocking the Thunders young guys).

  9. DreDaDon__ says:

Exum and Burke will be great I’m a Lakers fan and I think they might win
    more games than us

  10. The 'L' says:

Dante Exum was drafted by the Jazz with the expectation that he will make
an impact in 2 to 3 seasons and not this season, so I don’t know where all
these people get their info about him supposedly being a star now. If he
makes an impact this season, then it would be a bonus but he is not
expected to, and you know what, he is only answerable to his employers and
no one else, but before you diss, gather more info. As for Bill and Jalen’s
preview of The Jazz for this season, I’d watch this video more for laughs
than anything else. And Quin Snyder is a basketball genius, don’t be
surprised if the Jazz win 40+ games this season.

Can we do this for MLB and NFL as well? This podcast is hilarious.

  12. GRIDSALEENS7 says:

Bill needs to stop with the hyperbole. Because a casual nba fan might be
confused even if a die hard fan understands what he is trying to say.
Things like “15 million now is 9 million 3 years”. How is that even
remotely possible when the cap hasn’t risen exponentially in the past 3
    years. ?

It’s amazing to watch that clip of those clowns in Detroit crying because
Karl Malone fouled Isaiah Thomas hard. This is a team that based its
entire identity around being a bunch of thugs for whom no shot was too
    cheap.

As a Bulls fan I remember Dennis Rodman throwing Scottie Pippen into the
basket support. I remember Bill Laimbeer literally grabbing Michael
Jordan’s ankle as he was lying on the floor and trying to yank him to the
ground. I remember them throwing elbows and shoulders any time a player
went to the basket. The Pistons would have been ecstatic if they’d managed
to lay out John Stockton like that.

I remember when they lost to the Bulls in 1991, and it was clear that for
all of their antics and thuggery, they would never compete again with
Jordan and Pippen, the classless way that they walked off the court before
    time expired.

So to see Isaiah getting popped, and to see Chuck Daley and Bill Laimbeer
upset, just brought a tear to my eye. The only thing that would have been
better is if that clown who wanted to fight Malone hadn’t been hauled away,
because Malone would have crushed him like a grape.

Plus any time you get to see Isaiah Thomas suffer it’s a good time. How
many lives and how many businesses has he ruined because he convinces
people to trust him, that he knows what he’s doing, and then blows it?

Black people don’t watch Rudy… Add Hoosiers too

  15. Louis Gallet says:

That “All Night Long” part at 14:52 was possibly the greatest moment in
    Grantland history.

  16. Here’s a question…. who is this year’s Phoenix Suns?

  17. Joe A says:

Cmon Jalen. You played basketball in Indiana. You’ve never seen Rudy?? Ugh.
