Ok I’m just gonna break down the comment section:
1. Non-Americans we do say the pledge. It’s just a respect thing in honor
of our country and for the people who are dying/fighting for it.
2. Americans stop complaining about the pledge! It takes literally 10-15
seconds to say and most schools don’t even care if u say it! Just shut up,
stand up, and put ur hand over ur heart. Don’t let ur laziness get in the
way of respecting your country.
3. The pledge isn’t brainwashing. It’s simply showing respect to America
and all its endeavours. The pledge’s purpose wasn’t to brainwash anyone.
Just because u do it every morning doesn’t mean it’s brainwashing. U do
certain things every morning like brush your teeth or eat breakfast. Is
your toothbrush or cereal brainwashing u? Didn’t think so. The brainwashing
theory is total bull. Just stop.
((The pledge thing is weird. I went to Albany for school for a year back in
4th grade and every day everyone would stand up, put their hand over their
hearts, and say the pledge. I never even stood up xD))
