Dopest segment in noisey next to Rocky’s show
Also from Chicago, Chance the Rapper has been exploding on the world scene
(his mixtape is one of the top rated albums of 2013 on Metacritic,
Pitchfork, etc.) Intelligent, original, and NOT gangster. Of course all
the great thought provoking hip hop over the years from big artists like
Kanye, Lupe, and Common. The OG rapid fire rapper/Chitown legend Twista who
had a Billboard number one album back in 2004 with Kamikaze. Uber talented
underground acts The Cool Kids, the Molemen, Vakill etc. Not to mention Do
or Die, Da Brat, Crucial Conflict from back in the ’90s. The drill scene
is but one aspect of Chicago hip hop, folks. That being said…..Young Chop
and dem beats, though
Many all they rap about is guns, sex, drugs, jewelry, killing….change the
subject to have a better art form which is RAP.

How the hell are you gonna do a documentary on Drill in Chicago and not
have FBG/Bricksquad in there? They’re easily some of the biggest names in
Drill aside from Chief Keef and GBE.
