Magnifica!!!
haha of COURSE bossa isnt jazz, thats also not the point of the argument. It’s rather that artists such as Jobim have gotten affiliated with Jazzers such as Getz, resulting in fusion collaborations. Therefore Bossa and Jazz are often associated with each other, and this bossa jazz mix had become somewhat like a sub-jazz genre. But Bossa is NOT jazz.
I think there is nothing worst than performing and people start clapping. I always hated that in band. Choir kids would encourage everyone and the band kids would roll their eyes.
It’s not jazz. That’s a mistake. It’s samba. Bossa nova came from samba. Listening samba you can clap, dancing e whatever you want with your body
how can I find this song in brazilian, or the version the crowd is singing?
Deliciosa!
indiscriminate, misrhythmic “CLAP clapclap CLAP is sooo annoying
Type in “Garota De Ipanema”
the song just takes off to it’s own universe when audience continues overlaping with harmony over her voice… sublime!
True but they should clap with some syncope… hehe
belleza total, diana es un angel, que hermosa voz y que bien toca el piano.

Ah, se ela soubesse
Que quando ela passa
O mundo inteirinho se enche de graça
E fica mais lindo
Por causa do amor
Gold! Just love the audience. cheers
Brazilian songs should be sung in Portuguese!!! It would be much spicier. People need to develop, they should not stuck with English only….
I liked how she deferred to the audience to make a bridge with her hosts. They graciously walked with her through the lyrics and She did a nice job of ‘landing that plane.
Not an easy thing to do.
