Isometric view IS a perspective.
Also I have played LOADS of games with that view and used to draw pictures like that by myself.
The perspective in the shown scene is simply not consistent.
Again: Most notable on the bridges.
But…. why not just go 3D instead of playing games mapping 3D effects onto the 2D env?
Because they can spend more time and money on stuff that makes rpgs what they are.
i want more better graphics -.-
You won’t play a game because it’s iso? Some of the best games of all time are classic iso’s. I am looking forward to this style of game again, for a change! Go back to your call of duty, or whatever you play…
Oh man, love that you guys are getting across the concept that graphics should be “art” not “realism”. The tide thing is intriguing – I love the idea that parts of the world will react visually to events in the game, not just night/day.
