   That’s too bad, but don’t forget, Bebe really put Chicago on the map. Without her, there may not have even been a revival (especially not one that would become the longest-running American Broadway musical) or the movie.

   Yes. It’s Bebe Neuwirth. She played Lilith on Cheers and Frasier and a number of things on Broadway.

   Everyone keeps comparing Bebe to Catherine Zeta Jones. They both brought a different spin to Velma. Catherine brought a raw sensuality to it, Bebe brought the sassy caberet aspect to Velma. Both were incredible. Stop comparing them!
