    Wonderful history. One minor correction, Gennett Records is pronounced with a soft G. (Jennett – sounds like.) Oliver, Armstrong, Jelly Roll Morton, NORK, Beiderbecke and Hoagy Carmichael all made their first recordings in Richmond, IN at Gennett Studios.
