   and @TheNuclearbomb11 : They Are not. They are Alternativ Rock and Punk Pop/Rock.
   They were the ones, who let Alternative Music stay alive after Kurts Dead. Nirvana wouldve become more soft too, if they had been making music for over 25 years, and if they would be 40, like the ones from Green Day.

   That’s a pretty awful thing to say. I personally prefer Nirvana to Green Day – I don’t know a lot of Green Day’s songs, though – but this person in perfectly entitled to their opinion and doesn’t deserve to have that said to them.

    Look. You are comparing apples to oranges. Green Day is Green Day. Nirvana was the enigma of adolescent rage that bloomed into something that lyrically and sonically captured the youth of the 90′s. Green Day… Say what you will, but they have stuck with the same formula and although they have lost steam in the US, they continue to kick ass globally. You can say This sucks,” or “That sucks,” but until you actually make as big of a dent as either band, you are just being a negative creep.
