Boz Scaggs – Jojo (Official Promo Video)

Legendary singer Boz Scaggs' promotional music video for his US hit, "Jojo". Written by David Foster, David Lasley and Scaggs, the single reached the #17 spot on the Billboard Hot 100 in 1980. The song released on his album, "Middle Man". Scaggs hired the members of Toto as session musicians, among many of the top-notch players of the era. The video features session legends like guitarist Michael Landau, future Toto bassist Mike Porcaro (with a moustache!!), percussionist Lenny Castro and the late Carlos Vega on drums.

    This has such a “Georgie Porgie” Toto vibe. I’m suprised this was written by Foster and not Paich or Lukather. Nice groove.

    The bassist on the original recording is not David Hungate but John Pierce.
