   Stendhal syndrome and Jerusalem syndrom are basically the same thing, and neither is that rare. The main difference is that Stendhal syndrome concerns culture/art (cities like Florence, and Paris for example), and Jerusalem is the religious equivalent.

   It’s a matter of being let down by the real city compared to how you’ve imagined it. Surprisingly common in young Japanese women visiting Paris.

   just because it doesn’t impair, doesn’t mean it can’t be classified as a disorder. and quite a few disorders help those who have them.

   I have night terrors in relation to PTSD. Similar things to that have happened, except I have trouble moving.

    A disorder just means something is out of pace in relation to what’s common & supposed to be. So even though the effects aren’t necessarily bad, it’s still a disorder.
