   Astonishing, I only knew the bare basics of his life and a few tunes but this has convinced me that Django was one of the greatest guitar players ever. Grappelli’s endless soaring lines and seemingly effortless ability to create melodies on the fly while moving through chord changes is ridiculous, the whole package is one of the finest musical partnerships in history.
