    On the alcohol question, well, his face is painted a bit; but he did have addiction issues. He actually died from injuries inflicted at a bar fight. He passed way too soon! The Hendrix of electric bass (as far as influence on other bassists) and he has one of the top debut albums of all time, hands down. But I’m not biased at all. . .
